With 2020 for most of us not turning out how we hoped it would when we were celibrating the new year, it did give me some time for a couple of personal series. Luckily I could borrow this 806hp Novitec McLaren 720S for a couple of days earlier this year and used the opportunity to bring some ideas to life.
While lately having relied much more on natural light for my work, after extensively using external lights in the past, I felt the urge to do something different again. Using lights, especially in the dark, gives you so much control over bringing out lines and shapes. Bring in some color and you can really get your creative brain going, challenge yourself and get some unique results. The same goes for including people in automotive work, people and cars are inseparable as one is made by and for the other. Adding talent in photos allows you to tell a story and sell a lifestyle or vision. So without boring you all to sleep with endless rambling about how awesome this car was to drive and shoot, here is the series I shot of this supercar with both the above mentioned elements included.
